Hola from the Dominican!
The Dominican ROTR has been here since early (and I stress EARLY) Saturday morning. Today was our first day of work on a house site. We began by tearing down the sides and laying groundwork for new, brick walls to be laid. Keep praying for safety, weather, and anything else you can think of! Another update will come as soon as possible, internet access is limited here. Thank you!
7.6.11 - Joplin Food Drive
RISE Ministries will be taking Jr. High and Sr. High students to Joplin, Missouri for Rise on the Road August 3-7. New Creation Church, in Joplin, provides a distribution center for those in need and also serves three meals a day to 150 people at each meal. Rise on the Road will be taking food along to aid New Creation both with our food needs as a group and the needs of the people they serve daily.
We are bringing: - Canned foods - Non-perishable food items - Eggs - Bread - Condiments - Hot Dogs – Hamburgers
