4.26.12 - Natalie Grant wins Dove Award
Award-winning singer/songwriter Natalie Grant can add one more trophy to her collection. The artist recently won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 43rd annual GMA Dove awards, broadcast on April 24. This award marks the fifth time Grant has won Female Vocalist of the Year. The song “Your Great Name”, from Natalie’s CD Love Revolution won Worship Song of the Year.
“I’m so honored to receive the Female Vocalist of the Year award again,” Natalie said. “I thank God for his many blessings this year. The opportunity to record a song such as ‘Your Great Name’ was very special. It's been incredible to see how people have responded to this song." Natalie will join Mark Schultz, Tenth Avenue North, and many other artists this summer at RiseFest, in Sheldon June 16.
In its seventh installment, RiseFest, the one day Christian music festival, is scheduled June 16th, 2012 at the Sheldon Crossing on the Highway 60 bypass. The festival kicks off with the first inaugural RiseFest Pedal-Paddle-Run, will have food and merchandise vendors, a Kids Zone, seminars and other activities. Children 10 and under are free! RiseFest tickets are now available in local Christian bookstores and other outlets. Festival goers can now purchase tickets online, or at locations in Sheldon, Orange City, Sioux Center, Sioux City, Spencer, Worthington, and Sioux Falls. All ticket specials apply in each location.
