ROTR Ambassador
Duties
Work closely alongside RISE Ministries staff and RISE on the Road committee members to recruit participants for ROTR trips.
Work closely:
Visit area youth groups and churches.
Host informational and promotional meetings.
Promote Rise on the Road trips in your school and church.
Recruit participants
Represent RISE Ministries and its values.
Qualities: It is important to remember that once you become a RISE Ambassador you automatically become a face for the organization. We are looking for students who are passionate about mission trips, who are also a good representation of RISE Ministries and its core values. A good candidate will have the ability to exemplify both of these qualities.
Incentives: RISE Ministries will equip you with the necessary materials and information.
1. Recruit 5 people RiseFest T-shirt/ 2 tickets
2. Recruit 10 people $100 off trip registration, RiseFest T-shirt/2 tickets
3. Recruit 15 people ½ price trip registration RiseFest T-shirt/ 2 tickets
4. Recruit 20 people FREE trip registration RiseFest T-shirt/2 tickets/2 Meet & Greets
*The ROTR coordinator will contact you in April to with your recruitment number and your the remainder of the trip payment based upon the number of people you have recruited.
How to Apply
Step one: Application (required) Please download and fill out the application. We want to get to know you a little more and hear about your reasons for applying, your walk with Christ, and any ideas you may have for promoting Rise on the Road. Download the application below. When your application is complete please mail it to RISE Ministries, 517 Park St, Sheldon, IA 51201.
Step two: Submit a video Application (optional) Are you are a creative person who would rather showcase yourself through a video? This is the thing for you! You can create and submit a video application in addition to the paper application. When creating your video please include:
- Who you are, and a little bit about yourself
- Your reason for applying
- How your relationship with Christ affects your everyday life, relationships, and actions
- How you plan to promote Rise on the Road
To complete the video application, upload your video to Youtube, and email the link to RISE Ministries. Don't forget to mail in the paper application as well.
