We’re excited to announce the next artists on our 2021 RiseFest lineup!

Big Daddy Weave is a band we love to partner with! Their heart for ministry is something that has always impacted us deeply. We haven’t had Big Daddy Weave in quite a few years and we couldn’t be more excited to have them back!

Big Daddy Weave is one of Christian music’s most beloved artists. The band has achieved multiple No. 1 singles, including Alive, Love Come To Life, Redeemed, The Only Name (Yours Will Be), Overwhelmed and My Story. Their current chart-topping single, "Alive," from When The Light Comes, holds more than six million on-demand streams. Big Daddy Weave members are Mike Weaver (lead vocals, guitar), Jay Weaver (bass, vocals), Jeremy Redmon (guitar, vocals), Joe Shirk (saxophone, keys, vocals) and Brian Beihl (drums).

While creating their latest album, When the Light Comes, the men of Big Daddy Weave found themselves working from a new and unfamiliar place. “When we were working on songs for the new record,” shares lead singer Mike Weaver, “they were all written from a place of processing grief and sorrow. We were in a season of serious hurting.” The list of trials the band was going through was nearly overwhelming. But, instead of avoiding the painful truth of what they were going through, the band pushed themselves to put it all into the songs. “When we deal with stuff that’s happened to us on the inside,” says Mike Weaver, “we don’t know how to put it into words. We don’t mean to be hiders, but sometimes we don’t know how to bring things into the light.” Brian Biehl adds, “We’ve found it’s in the getting back up where you find true worship. When you’re down, it’s easy to stay there. But it takes a lot of strength to worship God when you’re in the middle of the disappointment and heartache. It takes a lot to sing some of these songs every night because some of us are still going through pain, still in the struggle. But we get up every night to make a stand and say the things God wants us to say.”

Zach Williams is a husband, father, and has also become one of CCM’s leading artists and songwriters by carving a niche with his singular blend of southern rock, country, and faith-filled songwriting, which quickly awarded him his first GRAMMY Award® with his debut album, 2017’s Chain Breaker. Zach’s music pulls from the hard luck truths of outlaw country, the dirt-road grit of southern rock, the contemporary roots music of alt-country artists, and a firm grounding in classic and contemporary Christian artists that stretches back to his dad’s old Petra records. His songs enlighten and uplift, revealing powerful transformative moments and stirring affirmations to stay on God’s path. His newest album, Rescue Story, is hope-filled and boldly vulnerable. Reflecting on this album, and the blessings Christ has given him, he says: “When I gave my life to the Lord, I realized He never left me, even in the dark times. For this new album, the title fits because every song in it has a rescue story. When you’re at your end of the rope, that’s when your rescue story begins. In my case, Jesus has been my rescue story.”
