Dr Steve Meyer

Dr. Steve Meyer was born and raised on a small farm near Hartley, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa while also playing football. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Meyer completed a family practice internship at McKennan Hospital and conducted biomechanical research at the University of Iowa. He began his orthopedic residency at the University of Kentucky, followed by a pediatric orthopedic fellowship, and continues to do orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Meyer surrendered his life to Jesus in China on a mission trip with YWAM in 1995. He is a co-founder of Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministry (STEMM) which began in 1997 and subsequently have made 68 mission trips to Tanzania. He has also authored Answer the Call and plans to enter full-time ministry and writing next year.
Raised near Cushing, Iowa.

Jody Still Herbold earned degrees in Animal Science and Education before teaching middle school and working as an education consultant. While consulting, she also provided pulpit supply to local churches. Eventually called into full-time pastoral ministry, Jody now focuses on writing and speaking to share God’s faithfulness through seasons of trial and growth.
